county wide lockdowns after big heists, like rdr2 but way bigger

Been replaying RDR2 lately and the county lockdown mechanic after a big shootout keeps sticking with me. You rob a train or shoot up a town and suddenly the whole county has extra patrols, roadblocks, the works. I keep wondering if GTA 6 will do something like that, but for Leonida.

Imagine Jason and Lucia pull off a major story heist. Once the wanted level clears, the area around the crime scene stays hot. More cops on the roads, helicopters still circling, checkpoints on the main routes. Not just the immediate block, but the whole county, maybe even neighboring counties if it's big enough.

This isn't about the new wanted star system. I mean after you lose the stars, the police presence stays elevated in that county for a while. RDR2 did this with bounty hunters and lawmen in lockdown zones. GTA 6's modern setting could make it more interesting because you'd have different agencies talking to each other. A huge heist in Vice City might trigger a coordinated response across the surrounding counties. Roadblocks on highways, patrols in rural areas, maybe even air support. Navigating certain parts of the map would get genuinely harder until things cool down.

I think Rockstar could pull it off. They already have the tech from RDR2, and with Leonida being one big connected state it would make the world feel reactive. Just hope it doesn't get annoying if you're trying to free roam after a story mission.
