Rewatching the extended look for like the tenth time and I finally caught something. There's this moment where the camera slowly pushes in on Jason and he's holding two things, a radio and some C4. Then the trailer cuts to two separate scenes. One shows him radioing the other gunmen while Lucia gets caught texting him. Then right after that, there's a body being sent down from the elevator with the C4 in it.

Neither of those actually happen in the mission itself. They're showing both options as possibilities. Like the game is saying, here's what happens if you go with the radio, and here's what happens if you blow the elevator. You get to pick which distraction to use.

Lucia even makes a comment in the C4 version about it being dramatic. So if you go with the radio, she'd probably have a different line, maybe something about it being the smart play or whatever. I love that they'd write separate reactions depending on your choice.

I feel like this was probably obvious to some people but I genuinely never noticed until now. It's a small thing but it makes me wonder how many other scenes in the extended look are secretly showing choice branches without spelling it out. Makes me want to go back through frame by frame.

Did anyone catch this before, or am I late to the party on this one?
