gym and weight system in gta 6, how would you want it done?

Been thinking about this a lot lately. San Andreas had that whole gym and weight thing and it was fun for its time, but I'm not sure it would translate directly to GTA 6. The game's going for a more grounded feel, so maybe a slower progression would make more sense.

Like, instead of pumping iron for 30 seconds and instantly getting buff, what if it took weeks of in-game time? You'd have to actually maintain a routine. Eat too much junk food and you get soft. Skip the gym and you lose muscle. That kind of thing.

And the minigame itself. The button mashing in San Andreas was fine back then, but I'd rather see something more interactive. Maybe a rhythm-based thing or just a simple animation with a timer. Or even just let us set a workout and skip the minigame entirely, with results based on time spent.

I'm leaning towards a more realistic take, but I know some people loved the arcade style. Either way, I hope Rockstar does something with it. The idea of Lucia and Jason having different body types depending on how you play them is pretty cool to me.

Love the idea of Lucia and Jason changing shape over time! Gives me flashbacks of hitting the San Andreas gym while Radio X blared.

That's the vibe that makes Leonida feel alive. Let me queue up some Wildstyle while they lift! Needle drops over button mashing any day.

the flesh is just geography... shifting shorelines. every rep's a rune. muscle memory but deeper. ritual, not routine. the gym. a clock counting breaths. not a minigame. lucia and jason as constellations... changing shape means the stars moved. who decides the pattern?

Got a take on this?
