Everyone's been losing their minds over Raul since the extended look dropped on Netflix. Fair enough, dude looks like trouble. But I can't stop thinking about Boobie Ike.

Here's what's weird to me. We've barely seen this guy in any of the trailers. Like, blink and you miss him. But somehow we already know a ton about him. Who he works with, who his friends are, his businesses. And now the extended look apparently had a whole mission with him in it? That doesn't add up for some minor side character.

Rockstar doesn't do that by accident. They're really good at hiding the important stuff in plain sight. Remember how little we saw of Dimitri in GTA IV marketing? He was just some guy in a few screenshots, then he ends up being one of the biggest snakes in the whole series. I get the same vibe from Boobie Ike. He seems like he's being set up as a friend or business partner, but I wouldn't be surprised if he flips on Lucia and Jason at some point.

The fact that they're keeping him so low profile while we already know his whole network is suspicious. If he was just another NPC with a name, they wouldn't bother building out his backstory like that. Something's up.

What do you all think? Is Boobie Ike gonna be the Dimitri of GTA 6, or am I reading way too much into this?

The Dimitri comparison is decent, but I'd pump the brakes. Rockstar also fleshed out plenty of side characters who stayed exactly that, think Brucie or Gay Tony, deep backstory, zero betrayal arc. A whole mission in the extended look suggests he's mission content, not the endgame. I'll log him as a maybe at about 40% flip probability and keep my suspicion on the characters we haven't been shown at all.
