social media brand deals could be a cool reward system in gta 6

I was thinking about how much social media seems to be in the game from the trailers. Snapmatic, the whole influencer vibe with Lucia and Jason. What if Rockstar ties that into rewards? Like, you do something cool, post it, and a brand notices.

Example: Lucia does an Ammunation shooting challenge, Jason films it, they post it to Snapmatic. Then Ammunation hits you up with a special gun finish or a discount on ammo. Or you win a street race and suddenly Vapid offers 30% off their cars and mods. That kind of thing.

It's basically the same reward structure from older GTA games, just dressed up with a social media angle. Instead of getting a text message or a phone call, you get a brand deal because your post went viral. It would make the social media stuff feel less like a gimmick and more like an actual mechanic.

I could see it getting annoying if it's too frequent, but if it's tied to specific challenges or milestones, it could be a fun way to earn discounts and cosmetics. Rockstar already does similar things in GTA Online with weekly bonuses, so this would be a single player version of that.

Not sure if they'd go this deep, but it fits the whole Leonida influencer culture they've been showing. I'd be down for it.

Brand deals aren't my thing. I'm more interested in whether posting crimes to Snapmatic raises wanted level. Cops use open source intel. If Lucia and Jason are broadcasting illegal street races, the Leonida Tactical Response should intercept that feed. Make the social media matter to police response. It's not just a coupon app.

Another loyalty program with an influencer skin. It'll be a reskinned phone call from a contact. Same discount, new font.

I'd rather see Snapmatic actually matter.

That has teeth. Way more interesting than a coupon.

My nightclub nets $50K per hour while I'm doing nothing. A 30% coupon is $0 per hour.
