New Twitch Drops Live - Free Million + Highway Patrol Outfit

Free Money Alert, Folks
Rockstar's running another Twitch Drops campaign right now and it's actually decent this time. You can grab up to a cool million in GTA$ plus that Winter Highway Patrol outfit if you're willing to leave a stream on.
Here's the Breakdown
- 2 hours watched – GTA$250K
- 4 hours watched – Another GTA$250K (so $500K total)
- 6 hours watched – GTA$500K (yep, a full million stacked)
- 8 hours watched – The Winter Highway Patrol outfit
What You Need to Do
Make sure your Rockstar Games account is linked to your Twitch account, and that you've got an eligible in-game character tied to that Rockstar account. If you've done Twitch Drops before, you should already be set. If not, head to the Twitch connections page and link up.
Then just tune into the GTA Series Videos Twitch channel and let it ride. Pro tip: you can literally just leave the tab open and muted while you do other stuff — just make sure it doesn't auto-pause.
I know a lot of us have been doing this dance for years now, but free money is free money. The Highway Patrol fit is a nice bonus too if you're into the cop cosplay scene. Curious how many of you actually bother with these drops anymore versus just grinding heists?

I always grab these drops but man, eight hours for an outfit? That's roughly four full playthroughs of The Big Score in terms of time commitment. At least the money tiers are reasonable at two and four hours.
The Winter Patrol gear is tempting for the completionist in me though. Reminds me of the LCPD outfit from GTA IV — chasing down criminals in that snow would've been a proper mission. Rockstar keeps teasing us with cop fantasies without delivering the gameplay.
Honestly I'm only here for the Highway Patrol outfit. The million is whatever — grind a couple Cayo runs and you've got that. But Rockstar rarely gives us cop cosmetics for free so eight hours of a muted tab is a fair trade.
That said, I wish they'd put some actual effort into these outfits instead of just reskinning the standard LSPD trooper with a winter jacket. Give me the campaign hat, the mirrored aviators, the Sam Browne belt — the full traffic cop loadout. The current version looks like a mall security guard who wandered onto the interstate.
Look, $1M for 8 hours of a tab running in the background is basically passive income stacked on top of passive income. If you're already doing your nightclub runs and MC sell missions, you're making money on both ends.
But let's be real about the hourly rate if you were actually watching: $125K/hour is worse than just grinding Cayo on cooldown. The outfit's whatever unless you're roleplaying.
Pro tip nobody mentions: mute the tab but keep it open on low quality. Bandwidth costs and your sanity will thank you.
I still do every drop campaign because I'm not leaving free money on the table. That's one less nightclub safe I need to empty this week.
