the eyes in the trailers, am I seeing things or is this foreshadowing?

Been rewatching both trailers frame by frame and something's bugging me. There's a shot of Lucia's eyes in trailer 1, and then in trailer 2 there's a similar close-up of Jason. Same expression, same lighting almost. I know Rockstar loves visual callbacks but this feels deliberate.

GTA stories have always been about betrayal. Niko got played by Rascalov and Pegorino after he did Faustin dirty. CJ had Smoke and Ryder. Michael and Trevor had their whole thing. So if we're getting a Bonnie and Clyde style duo, someone's turning on someone. That's just how these games work.

The theory I keep coming back to is Jason being an undercover cop. It's been floating around since the first trailer, and the second one didn't exactly kill it. If he's working the police, then he's already betraying Lucia from day one. But here's the twist I've seen people mention: what if Lucia finds out and turns on him first? And the pregnancy theory from trailer 2, if she's actually pregnant, that raises the stakes even more. She'd be protecting herself and the kid, not just getting revenge.

I'm not saying it's confirmed or anything. But those eye shots, the way they mirror each other, it's like Rockstar is telling us these two are watching each other just as much as they're watching the world. And in a GTA game, that never ends well.

I'm betting on both theories honestly. Jason's a cop, Lucia finds out, and she's the one who pulls the trigger first. Would be a hell of a way to flip the usual GTA betrayal script.

Man, we just watched the Vice City trailer once on a CRT in 2002 and got hyped. Now it's frame counters and pregnancy theories. I don't know if Jason's a cop or if Lucia's gonna clip him, but Rockstar always finds a way to make it hurt. Those mirrored shots feel deliberate. Maybe too deliberate.
