Rockstar's doing another Twitch Drops run and it's actually a pretty solid deal this time. If you've got some time to kill, you can stack up to a cool million in GTA$ plus grab the Winter Highway Patrol outfit.
How It Works
You'll need to watch the stream over on Twitch and the rewards unlock at different milestones:
- 2 hours watched — GTA$250K
- 4 hours watched — another GTA$250K
- 6 hours watched — GTA$500K
- 8 hours watched — Winter Highway Patrol outfit
So yeah, if you go the full eight hours you're walking away with a million bucks and a cop uniform. Not bad for just having a stream running in the background while you do other stuff.
Before You Start
Make sure your Rockstar Games account is linked to your Twitch account, and that you've got an eligible character tied to that Rockstar account. If any of those links are missing, you won't get squat no matter how many hours you watch. Learned that the hard way a while back myself.

Honestly the outfit is the real prize here. The Highway Patrol presence in Los Santos was always weirdly sparse compared to the LSPD – you'd only really see them patrolling the Great Ocean Highway and up near Paleto Bay on the Senora Freeway. Having the uniform for your own loadout is a nice touch. That said, a million bucks barely covers a single high-end apartment in Rockford Hills these days. I'm grabbing both but let's not pretend that cash goes far in a city where a single garage in Del Perro runs you half that.
That Highway Patrol outfit is the real prize here and everyone's sleeping on it. Cop RP is already saturated on most servers but actual patrol uniforms with the proper badge model? That's instant credibility for LEO characters. Right now half the cops on FiveM are running around in scripted civilian clothes pretending to be SAPR.
Question is whether Rockstar even lets RP servers access Twitch Drop items. They've been weird about asset porting before. If this gets locked to Online only, it's just another cosmetic for a mode most of us abandoned years ago.
Eight hours is a grind but that Highway Patrol outfit is worth it alone. The winter variant is solid for roleplay setups and patrol-themed photo modes. Just wish Rockstar would tie cop cosmetics to actual law enforcement gameplay milestones instead of Twitch views. Would love to see patrol outfits unlock through cop-specific activities or pursuit challenges. Still, free uniform is free uniform.
Free capital is free capital. That million covers setup costs for three Cayo runs before you even lift a finger. The patrol outfit's whatever unless you're running cop-disguise approaches, but I'll take it for the wardrobe options.
Pro tip: double-check your Twitch drops inventory page after each milestone. I've had delays where the hours logged but the payout didn't trigger until I manually claimed. Eight hours AFK is eight hours—don't waste it on a broken link.
