Rockstar should try a different kind of ending for once

I've been thinking about how Rockstar always goes for the same kind of gut punch. Betrayal, death, the whole "crime doesn't pay" thing. GTA V had three endings but they all felt like variations on a theme. RDR2 gave us a beautiful, tragic arc but it was still the outlaw's last ride. I'm ready for something that hits different.

What if GTA 6 is built around love instead of loyalty? Jason and Lucia, their whole Bonnie and Clyde dynamic, but the real tension isn't who's gonna backstab who. It's whether they can actually escape the life together. Imagine the final choice isn't about killing someone or taking the money. It's about Jason deciding if he's willing to walk away from the chaos for something real. And Lucia, based on everything you've done with her throughout the game, either follows him or stays behind. That's it. No big shootout, no revenge plot. Just a quiet, devastating moment where you realize what you've built or lost.

Rockstar already played with this a little. Charles going to Canada, Sadie becoming a bounty hunter. Those endings felt earned because they were about the characters, not the score. Give us more of that. Let the story be gut wrenching because you care about the people, not because someone got shot in the head. Multiple endings that depend on how you actually bonded with Lucia, not just a binary choice at the end. That would be unexpected. That would stick with me way longer than another "trust no one" twist.
