Producer says GTA 6 won't have cut content, but Rockstar's done it before

So there's this quote going around from a GTA 5 producer saying GTA 6 probably won't include any cut content. They're claiming the game is so tightly designed that everything they want is in there from the start. Sure, okay.
But then you remember GTA 4. Rockstar literally snuck missions from an unannounced game into The Lost and Damned. Whole missions, just sitting there, and nobody noticed until dataminers dug them up years later. They weren't even GTA missions, they were from some other project that never saw the light of day. So the idea that Rockstar doesn't leave scraps behind is already busted.
I'm not saying GTA 6 is gonna be filled with half-finished heists or cut islands. But this is the same company that had a hot coffee minigame buried in the code, a skateboard in San Andreas that got yanked, and a full zombie mode in RDR1 that was never officially released. They've always left breadcrumbs. The producer might genuinely believe the final build is clean, but devs don't always know what gets left in the files. Or maybe they're just saying what they're supposed to say.
Either way, I'm not taking that statement at face value. The modding scene will have a field day with GTA 6 regardless, and I'd bet my last dollar there's something weird hiding in the code that wasn't meant for us.

A producer saying the build is clean is standard PR. I'm betting there are still leftover pursuit scripts or early wanted level parameters sitting in the files. Maybe cut vehicle handling for patrol cars. Those breadcrumbs tell a better story than any press statement.
LSPDfan's point about
feels spot on. Even if the narrative team scrubs every cut mission, there might be early handling configs or unfinished physics flags buried in the vehicle files. I could see some weird collision mesh for a boat or an unpolished jump animation for Lucia just sitting there.leftover pursuit scripts
What I'm actually curious about is whether any of those scraps affect gameplay in subtle ways. A half-removed wanted system parameter might still trigger under specific conditions, or an old weather script could break fog rendering in a very specific spot. It's not like we've never seen a "clean" build leave invisible breadcrumbs that modders turn into proper chaos.
Has anyone else noticed how Rockstar's physics engine tends to carry over weird momentum values between builds? Might be nothing, but it seems like the kind of thing that doesn't get fully wiped. Could be wrong though.
