miami radio in gta 6, who do we think gets a station

GTA5's radio lineup was stacked because LA had so many local names to pull from. Frank Ocean, Julian Casablancas, Big Boy all had their own stations. Wavves had two songs in the final mission and they ripped. That kind of local flavor is a big part of why the radio felt alive.

Now we're heading to Leonida, which is basically Vice City and the surrounding areas. Miami has a completely different music scene. Who from that world actually gets a station? There's a ton of Miami rap, electronic stuff, Latin music. Rockstar could go deep with local DJs or artists. Or they might lean into the whole Spotify integration thing and let people just stream their own playlists in game.

I think that would be a big loss. If everyone plugs in their own playlists, you don't catch the same vibe as other players. Part of the fun in GTA is hearing a song on the radio and knowing someone else is hearing it too, or having a station become part of the game's identity. GTA5 had that with Non Stop Pop and Los Santos Rock Radio. If GTA6 just becomes a shell for your own music, the world feels less shared.

But I get why some people want it. Not everyone likes the curated stuff. Still, I'd rather Rockstar put effort into original stations with Miami talent. Maybe some local Miami rappers, some reggaeton, some synthwave for the Vice City nostalgia. Who do you actually want to hear curating a station in GTA6?
