My prediction for how GTA 6 ends
Been thinking about this a lot after rewatching both trailers. Rockstar's putting Jason and Lucia's relationship right at the center of everything, and I don't think that's just for show. The money, the heists, the chaos across Leonida — it all feels like it's in service of their story, not the other way around.
We know from the official synopsis that their "easy job" goes sideways and pulls them into some bigger conspiracy. So I'm picturing a final massive heist, the kind that's supposed to set them free, and then a betrayal from someone they trusted. After that, the game forces a choice: freedom or each other. Not both.
Rockstar's done multiple endings before with GTA V, but this time it could hit way harder. I can see them making you pick who lives. Maybe Lucia sacrifices herself so Jason can get out, or the other way around. The trailers already hint at her being the more grounded one, so I could see her making that call. But Jason's got that reckless loyalty too.
I don't think it'll be a happy ending. The whole tone of the marketing feels heavier than GTA V's. My guess is the final message won't be about the score or the escape — it'll be about whether their trust was worth everything they lost. And honestly, if Rockstar really wants to leave a mark, they'll make us choose who walks away. That kind of gut punch would stick with people way longer than a pile of cash.
