I really hope Lucia's Spanish isn't just a token word here and there
Saw a post on the sub about this and it got me thinking. Rockstar has a chance to do something really cool with Lucia's language.
The OP said they don't want the typical Hollywood Latina who drops one Spanish word per sentence with a heavy accent. Like the "my abuela used to say" cliché. Instead, they want Lucia to be fully comfortable in both English and Spanish, switching accents naturally depending on what she's speaking. And the really cool part: if she's walking through a majority Latino neighborhood, she could interact with people completely in Spanish, and the game would just give us subtitles.
That would be such a nice touch for immersion. GTA has always had diverse NPCs, but the protagonists rarely switch languages based on where they are. It would make Vice City feel way more alive. I remember RDR2 had some Spanish here and there, but nothing like this. If Rockstar actually pulls it off, it could be one of those small details that people talk about for years.
Would you want full Spanish conversations with subtitles, or do you think that would get annoying after a while?

I'm fine with subtitles. Natural code-switching would make Vice City feel like a real jurisdiction.
Full Spanish with subtitles? This. So much this. It's the kind of detail 2004 Rockstar would have killed for.
Spanish shouldn't just be window dressing for Lucia. Having her shift dialects naturally in Grassrivers or Ambrosia turns the city into a character too. Subtitles never pulled me out of a scene. If anything, they've grounded me deeper.
