vice city pd and vice beach pd both showed up to the jewelry robbery

Caught something in the Extended Look during the jewelry robbery scene. VCPD rolled up in their white and blue Crown Vic style cruisers, but then a black and white truck and an all white muscle car from Vice Beach PD pulled in too. Two different departments, two different municipalities. Miami and Miami Beach in real life.

I always assumed each PD would have map borders. Commit a crime in Vice City, VCPD responds. Do something in Vice Beach, their cops handle it. But this scene makes me think Rockstar might be doing overlapping response zones. Or maybe patrols are back like GTA 4, and any cop nearby gets called in based on the crime radius. If a Vice Beach unit happens to be close to a robbery in Vice City, they join the chase.

That would be huge for immersion. Different liveries, uniforms, vehicle types all mixing in the same pursuit. I'm already excited about the law enforcement variety in Leonida. Seeing two agencies work the same scene is the kind of detail I didn't expect.

Do you think this is a scripted moment for that mission or an actual system where nearby agencies can respond regardless of jurisdiction?
