That truck full of crocs in the screenshot... we're getting RDR2-style pickup and hogtie mechanics, right?
Caught a detail in one of the new screenshots that I haven't seen many people talking about. There's a flatbed truck with a bunch of crocs just lying in the back. Not dead, not skinned, just... there. Like cargo.
In RDR2 you could lasso animals and stow them on your horse. Big ones, small ones, legendary pelts. It was a whole system. This screenshot makes me think Rockstar is bringing that back, but for vehicles. Pick up a gator, toss it in the truck bed, drive it to the trapper or wherever. And if you can pick up animals, you can probably pick up people too. Hogtie a bounty, throw them in the trunk, deliver them alive. That's pure RDR2 DNA.
Now imagine GTA 6 Online. You and your crew roll up on some griefer, tie him up, and dump him in the Everglades with the crocs. No guns, no explosions, just a front-row seat to nature taking its course. The chaos potential is off the charts. Rockstar already gave us the lasso and the reinforced rope in RDR2, so the mechanics are there. Just swap the horse for a pickup truck.
I'm not saying it's confirmed, but that screenshot feels like a deliberate tease. They know we'll zoom in on every pixel. And if they're showing crocs in a truck bed, there's a reason. Fingers crossed we get the full hogtie-and-dump package.

Hogtie and transport sounds solid. RDR2's reinforced rope gave you options. Dead or alive. If GTA 6 builds on that, we're looking at actual prisoner transport mechanics.
From an LE standpoint, the interesting part is escalation. You toss a bound NPC in a truck bed and a bystander calls it in. Dispatch should flag that as a kidnapping in progress. Units switch to felony stop protocols. Spike strips. PIT maneuvers. It's not just a standard one-star.
Same goes for crocs. Wildlife trafficking could draw Fish and Wildlife or whatever Leonida's equivalent is. Different loadouts. Maybe a tranq rifle instead of buckshot.
The screenshot is vague. Could be static decor. But if Rockstar commits, it changes how suspects and evidence get moved. I want to see trunk capacity rules. Weight distribution. Small details.
I'm more interested in where that truck is parked. The vegetation screams northern Grassrivers (maybe west of Port Gellhorn). In GTA V you could hunt Tongva Hills but never haul live cargo. If Leonida lets us truck crocs across county lines, that's a real map feature. Gives me a reason to use those backroads east of Mount Kalaga.
