The GTA V cops drove me insane. You get past two stars and suddenly there's a cruiser materializing down the block no matter where you are. It made chases feel less like escaping and more like waiting out a timer.

If the rumors about smarter AI are true, and cops actually respond based on where you are instead of teleporting, a shootout in downtown Vice City could be wild. Ducking into a back alley or hopping a fence while cruisers block off intersections instead of aimbotting you through walls sounds like a completely different game.

I also really want the RDR2 witness system back. Someone sees you punch an NPC in the middle of nowhere and they run off to call the cops. That feels way more immersive than instantly getting a wanted level because the game decided you were bad.

And the tactical response stuff. Instead of every cop blindly shooting, imagine teams actually trying to box you in or cut off intersections based on where you fled. Not spawning on your bumper. Getting into trouble would feel high stakes instead of a mild annoyance you solve by calling Lester or hiding in a tunnel.

Even the small stuff matters. Bump a cop car by accident or run a red light, get one star. Instead of the whole precinct turning into a hivemind and executing you on sight, a cop steps out, walks up to your window, tells you to step out or pay a fine. If you run, they call it in. Dispatch gets your car description and clothes. Actual physical roadblocks on the highway. You could duck under an overpass or pull into a random parking garage, cut the engine, and watch cruisers fly past on the main road instead of locking onto your exact coordinates through concrete.

And if you ditch the car you used for a crime, the cops are still looking for that specific whip until someone reports it dumped. You actually have to think like a criminal instead of hiding in a Los Santos Customs tunnel for 20 seconds while the minimap flashes red and blue.

Would you actually stop for a traffic stop if it meant avoiding an instant wanted level, or are you flooring it every time?
