three thursdays left before preload, here's my guesses for rockstar's drops

Rockstar's been on a pretty consistent Thursday schedule since the extended look hit back on August 27. Only miss was October 1, and then October 8 they dropped two things to make up for it.

Quick recap of the Thursday drops:

• Aug 27 - Extended Look
• Sep 3 - GTA VI DualSense controllers
• Sep 10 - controller preorders
• Sep 17 - GTA VI: The Album announced
• Sep 24 - collectors edition
• Oct 1 - nothing
• Oct 8 - radio station preview plus the merch collection on the Rockstar store
• Oct 15 - launch trailer

Preload starts November 12, which is also a Thursday. So we've got exactly three Thursdays left before that: October 22, October 29, and November 5.

My guesses for those three:

October 22 is GTA III's 25th anniversary. I'm thinking we get a GTA themed PS5 Pro or some special bundle. Rockstar doesn't usually let anniversaries slide, especially a big one like that.

October 29 feels like a music drop. Maybe the additional music from the album, or some new radio station stuff. They've been teasing the soundtrack for a while now.

November 5, I think we finally get a GTA 6 Online trailer. That would explain why the launch trailer came out as early as it did. They needed room to show off Online before preload.

I'd be surprised if they skip the GTA III anniversary. They love their anniversaries, and with preload right around the corner it feels like they want every Thursday to count.
