So we know the four Criminal Profile labels: Professional, Aggressive, Violent, Psycho. Rockstar keeps saying they won't punish any playstyle, which is great, but I keep coming back to that Raul scene from the extended look. He's the guy teaching Jason and Lucia the bigger robberies, and he straight up stresses how much he values professionalism. That feels like a deliberate nod to the profile system, right?

Here's my hangup. If Raul's missions are part of the main story, then a Psycho Lucia or Jason would still have to get through them. But then she says "of course" she's a professional, and that's exactly the ludonarrative dissonance Rockstar said they wanted to fix. You can't have a character who's been blowing up half of Leonida suddenly nodding along about clean work and no witnesses. It just doesn't track.

Unless they handle it differently. Maybe Raul's dialogue shifts based on your profile. A Professional gets the warm welcome. An Aggressive gets a warning. A Psycho gets him visibly annoyed or even changing the mission parameters. That would be a lot of branching though, and Rockstar's never gone that deep with main story reactivity.

Side missions are easier to imagine. A job that requires zero witnesses fits a Professional. A job where you need to look unhinged to intimidate someone fits a Psycho. Locking those out makes sense and doesn't break the main narrative. But main missions are trickier because the story has to move forward for everyone.

I think what we'll actually see is that the profile changes flavor text and maybe some minor objective variations, but the core beats stay the same. Raul might comment on your style, maybe even refuse to work with you until you clean up your act for that one mission, but the mission still happens. The alternative is locking out chunks of the main story, and I don't see Rockstar doing that when they've already said no playstyle gets punished.

My gut says the Criminal Profile is more about how NPCs react to you in the open world and how certain side content opens up, not about gating the main campaign. Raul's professionalism line is probably just character building, not a hard requirement. But I'd love to be wrong and see them actually commit to it.
