Prostitutes in GTA 6 — would it feel wrong with Jason and Lucia?

I was thinking about how the whole "pick up a prostitute" thing has been in every GTA since III, and I'm wondering if Rockstar might finally drop it for VI. Not because of censorship or anything, but because of the protagonists.

Jason and Lucia seem like they're actually a couple. A real one, not the usual dysfunctional mess we get. In past games it made sense — Claude was a blank slate, Tommy was a lone wolf, CJ had girlfriends but nothing serious, Niko was single, and the GTA V trio were all varying degrees of disaster. So hiring a sex worker never felt out of character. But if Jason and Lucia are supposed to have this strong bond, it'd be weird if either of them could just pull over and pick someone up. Unless they establish they have an open relationship, which would feel like a cop-out just to keep the mechanic.

I barely used the feature myself, so I wouldn't miss it. But I know some people see it as a staple, like the wanted system or stealing cars. Remember the drama when God of War dropped the sex minigames? Some fans acted like the whole series was ruined. I could see a similar reaction here.

Maybe Rockstar could keep it but make it contextual — like only available if you're playing as one character at a certain point in the story, or if you're not in a mission. But that still feels off if the characters are supposed to be loyal to each other.

What do you all think — would you actually care if they removed it, or is it time to let that feature go?
