Trailer 2 opening might be the actual game intro — Jason and Lucia meeting for the first time?

Been rewatching the 2025 trailer and something clicked. That opening shot with Jason walking through the dusty lot, the way he looks at Lucia — what if that's literally the first time they meet? Like, the game starts right there, before they know each other.

I keep thinking Brian is the link. He's the one who sets them up somehow. Maybe Jason is supposed to drop Lucia off at some meet spot in Vice City or Port Gellhorn where Brian is waiting, and that's how their paths cross. The trailer cuts away, but I bet we'd see them driving together, that weird tension building. Then later they reconnect, and it spirals into the motel scene from Trailer 1 — the whole "trust" moment — and eventually the diner robbery.

It just feels like Rockstar is showing us the origin of their partnership, not random trailer clips. The way they look at each other in that opening shot, there's already something there, but it's not familiarity. It's curiosity. Like they're sizing each other up for the first time.

Could be totally wrong, but the editing in these trailers is so deliberate. They wouldn't open Trailer 2 with that scene unless it meant something. Maybe it's the prologue before the title card drops.

What do you think — is Brian the one who brings them together, or am I connecting dots that aren't there?
