I want GTA 6 to make me feel like a real criminal, not a superhero with a gun

Been thinking about this a lot after that Reddit post. The combat in V got stale fast because every punch felt the same and every gun sounded like a toy. I want fights where you can see the damage you're doing, busted lips, black eyes, people limping away or crawling. Bar fights that actually destroy the place, chairs breaking, bottles smashing, bouncers dragging you out. Not just one-punch knockouts and everyone walking it off two seconds later.

Gun sounds need a massive overhaul too. In V they all sound like airsoft guns. I want each weapon to have its own distinct crack, with echoes bouncing off buildings differently indoors vs outdoors. Ricochets off metal with that ping sound, sparks flying, muzzle flash lighting up a dark alley. Shootouts should leave smoke hanging in the air and blood trails on the ground.

And the city itself needs to feel dangerous. Some neighborhoods should make you think twice about walking through at night. People trying to rob you, pulling knives, gangs hanging on corners. Heavy fog rolling in, stray dogs barking, abandoned buildings you can actually hide in. Not every street should feel the same.

NPCs need to value their lives. If I try to carjack someone, maybe they floor it, maybe they throw me the keys, maybe they pull a gun. Witnesses calling 911, remembering what I was wearing, what car I stole. Cops shouldn't magically know where I am. They should search, use dogs and helicopters, set up roadblocks, and actually lose me if I'm smart enough to ditch the car and change clothes.

Stealth could finally be useful. Hopping fences, cutting through backyards, hiding in dumpsters or drainage canals, climbing rooftops. Let me buy a police scanner to hear where they're searching. If I'm carrying an illegal gun, let me toss it in a lake or dumpster before the cops find me. Little details like ripping your pants on a chain-link fence or leaving muddy footprints after running through a creek would make every escape feel tense and personal.

Ammo should be limited so you actually think before mag-dumping. And money needs real purpose beyond cars and clothes. Safehouses, fake IDs, bribes, informants, burner phones, lockpicks, black market weapons. If you're broke, you're stuck with whatever you can scrounge. That kind of pressure changes how you play.

I know Rockstar won't do all of this, but even half would make Leonida feel alive in a way Los Santos never did.
