the ending is probably Lucia pushing Jason into one last job, and it's either death or breakup

Been turning this over since the extended look and I think I finally see where the story is heading. Rockstar keeps calling this a Bonnie and Clyde thing, but the way they've framed Jason and Lucia makes me think the ending is already baked in.

Jason wants out. Or at least he wants something quieter. Lucia is the one pulling them further in. That's the dynamic we've seen in both trailers and it's not subtle. So what if the final act is Lucia convincing him to do one massive score, the kind that would set them up forever but is basically suicide?

If Jason says yes, they go down together. Not in a blaze of glory exactly, but like the actual Bonnie and Clyde ending. Ambushed, no escape, dying as a couple. That would be a hell of a way to close it. Rockstar loves a tragic ending when it fits, and this would fit the whole 'lovers on the run' setup.

If Jason says no, they survive but the relationship is done. Lucia can't forgive him for backing out, or he can't forgive her for asking. Either way they lose each other but keep their lives. That's the bittersweet option. They survive, but it costs them everything that mattered.

I don't think Rockstar would do a simple 'they ride off into the sunset' ending. Not after how they've described these two. The whole premise is that they're bad for each other in some ways, but also can't function apart. That's the tragedy.

I'm leaning toward the death ending being the 'canon' one if there is such a thing. It matches the Bonnie and Clyde comparison too perfectly. But the breakup option would sting more, honestly. Losing someone while they're still alive is worse than going out together.
