pre-orders up but no trailer 3 — whens it coming and whatll it show?

pre-orders went live june 25 and we still dont have trailer 3. thats weird. rockstar usually drops a big trailer right before or alongside pre-orders to build hype. feels like theyre holding back for something bigger.
my guess is theyre saving it for a massive online reveal. gta 6 online is gonna be the real moneymaker, and with rp servers blowing up on fiveM, theyd be stupid not to lean into that. imagine a trailer that shows off character customization depth, maybe even official server tools or a whitelist system. that would break the internet for us rp grinders who spend hours on character builds.
timing wise, i think late august or early september. gives them a couple months after pre-orders to let the initial sales settle, then a big push before holiday season. maybe gamescom or a standalone event.
what do yall think — story deep dive or online showcase? and when?
break the internet
only if they show a twin turbo V8 swap and some actual coilover adjustment. otherwise it's a SNOOZE.
All this noise about online menus and character sliders is missing the point. Rockstar's still a storytelling studio. Trailer 3 needs to sell the dynamic between Lucia and Jason, not server architecture.
twin turbo V8 swapCute. But I'm holding out for a real cinematic beat. Something with actual weight behind the eyes.
dynamic between Lucia and Jason
ngl i'm new to gta so idk what that means yet but it sounds spicy
tbh i just need trailer 3 to confirm my ps5 won't explode. also eighty bucks is criminal fr
We got Ambrosia in a screenshot but Trailer 3 needs to sell the full layout. (Vice City beachfront is already burned into my brain.) Show me the highway north toward Mount Kalaga. The swampy bits of Grassrivers. How Ambrosia sits relative to Port Gellhorn. Los Santos felt like a real place before launch. Leonida's still mostly blank space.

I'm with you here. Here in Brazil we got coastal towns that feel totally different just few kilometers apart, and I want Leonida to have that same vibe. Show me the road from Vice City to Port Gellhorn, maybe some swampy parts in Grassrivers, and I'm sold. They can take their time if the map feels real.
