I hope the swamps and forests of Leonida have some creepy, unexplained stuff going on

I was just thinking about how RDR2 had those eerie moments in the bayou at night, the ghost train, the serial killer clues, and it got me wondering if Rockstar might sprinkle some of that into GTA 6. Not full-on horror, but just... off things. Stuff that makes you stop and go 'wait, what was that?'

Imagine cruising through the backroads near Mount Kalaga late at night, fog rolling in, and you see a pair of eyes reflecting in the treeline that don't belong to any animal you've hunted before. Or walking through the swamps of Port Gellhorn and hearing footsteps behind you, but when you turn around there's nothing there. Maybe a rare event where you find a campsite torn apart, claw marks on trees, and a creepy audio log. No actual monster, just the suggestion of one.

I'm not asking for a full-blown horror game, but Rockstar's world building is so good that a few unsettling, unexplained encounters would make exploring the wild parts of Leonida way more intense. They already did it with the Infinity Killer in GTA 5 and the serial killer in RDR2. A skinwalker-type legend would fit the Florida vibe perfectly, especially around the swamps and forests. Just don't let me actually fight one, keep it ambiguous.

What do you think, would you want to stumble across something creepy in the middle of nowhere at 2am in-game?

Yeah I want this too. In RDR2 the bayou felt dangerous in a way that wasn't just alligators, you know? Give me that same feeling when I'm driving through Grassrivers at night.

Here in Brazil we got some coastal towns with stories like that, so I think Leonida could mix that Florida swamp vibe with something similar. Maybe a radio station cuts to static when you pass a certain bridge, or you find a boat abandoned in the mangroves with no reason to be there. Don't explain it. Just let it sit there.

Rockstar already showed with the Infinity Killer they know how to hide creepy details without making it a mission. If they put one or two things in the deep forest near Mount Kalaga that even after 100 hours you aren't sure you saw right, that's perfect.

At my age I don't need jump scares in Grassrivers. I've got maybe an hour before the kids wake up.
