Hunting Pack (Get Lamar) IV - New Adversary Mode Map Breakdown

New Lamar Adversary Mode Just Dropped
So GTA Series Videos just put up a walkthrough of the new Hunting Pack (Get Lamar) IV map, and honestly it looks pretty wild. This one came with the A Safehouse in the Hills update, and if you've played any of the previous Hunting Pack modes, you know the drill — but this map layout shakes things up nicely.
What's the Deal With This Mode?
For anyone who hasn't touched these Lamar adversary modes yet, the basic concept is straightforward: one team's trying to escort a vehicle (and Lamar, because of course he's mixed up in it) to a destination, while the other team does everything possible to stop them. It's chaotic, it's loud, and Lamar is guaranteed to talk trash the entire time. That's just who he is.
The Map
The video gives you a solid look at the new layout running in 4K at 60fps, and it's worth checking out if you want to plan your routes before jumping in. Having some knowledge of the terrain before you spawn in can be the difference between a clean run and getting absolutely wrecked by the opposing team over and over.
Should You Bother?
Look, Lamar adversary modes have always been a mixed bag. Some people love the chaos, others think it's just an excuse for griefing with extra steps. But the A Safehouse in the Hills update seems to be adding some decent content, and this mode is part of that package. If nothing else, it's a reason to log in and mess around with friends for an evening.
GTA Series Videos has been putting out solid content for years covering all the official updates and modes, so their breakdowns are usually on point if you want a clean look at what's new before you dive in yourself.
What do you think of the Hunting Pack modes overall — are they actually fun or just a chaotic mess?

Hunting Pack modes are what you make of 'em. The escort vehicle is always some stock boat that handles like a shopping cart with a flat tire, so the real play is figuring out which interceptor setup actually works for shutting it down.
Last time around I ran a fully built Elegy with drift tires and a close-race gearbox — you can hug the inside lines on the chase way better than some dude in a stock Zentorno mashing throttle. Route knowledge matters but so does having the right build for how you want to attack it.
That said, Lamar's mouth makes me wanna let the other team catch him half the time.
Honestly? The chaos IS the fun, but what really makes or breaks these modes is what station you're bumping while you're getting chased across the map. Last time I ran a Hunting Pack, I had West Coast Classics on and that Dre cut hitting while you're weaving through traffic? Chef's kiss. Perfect needle drop for the mood.
That said, Lamar's non-stop yapping can step all over the track if you're trying to actually listen to the radio. Dude has zero respect for the programming. Sometimes I wish there was a "Lamar volume" slider separate from the music.
