ambrosia is the new sandy shores, and i'm here for it
Ambrosia's sugar cane fields are a front. You don't put that much flat, isolated farmland in a GTA map without hiding a meth empire or a moonshine war behind the stalks. The Grassrivers name alone feels like a wink. This is where the Trevor analogue lives, or maybe a whole family of them. The kind of place where you stumble on a still and suddenly you're in a 15-minute chase with a rusted-out truck and a guy who hasn't seen a paved road since the Clinton administration.
I'm picturing something out of Southern Comfort, but with more flannel and less Cajun accordion. Rockstar's rural zones always deliver the best side characters, the ones who feel genuinely unhinged because they're not part of the city's performance. Vice City's neon glitz needs that counterweight. The question is: will Ambrosia be pure chaos like Sandy Shores, or are we getting something darker? More swamp cult than trailer park cook? What kind of weird are you expecting to find out there?
