New Community Mission Series 'Detective Story' Now Live - 4X GTA$ & RP

Detective Story - Community Mission Series #5 is Here!
BooCooSocial just dropped the fifth Community Mission Series and this one's got a detective vibe going on. If you've been sleeping on these community-created missions, now's the time to wake up because Rockstar is offering 4X GTA$ and RP for a limited time. That's not a typo, folks.
What You Need to Know
- This is Community Mission Series #5, titled "Detective Story"
- Created by BooCooSocial — big ups to the community creators keeping Online fresh
- Available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced)
- 4X GTA$ and RP bonus is time-limited, so don't sleep on it
GTA Series Videos has a clean 4K 60fps walkthrough with no commentary if you want to check it out before diving in or if you get stuck somewhere. Sometimes it's nice to just see the flow of a mission without someone screaming over it, you know?
Quick reminder: GTA Series Videos is a fan channel, not officially affiliated with Rockstar or Take-Two. They've been doing solid work covering the series for years though.
I haven't run through this one yet but the detective theme has me intrigued. Some of the best GTA moments come from these smaller community-created offerings rather than the big headline updates. Anyone else feel like the Community Mission Series doesn't get enough love compared to the major DLC drops?
So who's already played through Detective Story, and how does it stack up against the previous Community Mission entries?

Honestly, detective-themed anything is catnip for RP and I'm here for it. The last CMS was decent but felt a little railroady - hopefully this one gives more room for player interpretation. That said, 4X is nothing to sneeze at - grind this now and fund your next character build later. Nothing worse than having a concept and being broke before you even hit the server.
Still waiting to see if any of these community missions eventually get proper RP server integration. The framework's there, but right now it's all freemode.
Finally, a mission series that leans into the investigative side instead of just "blow everything up and escape the cops." Honestly, if they want these detective missions to really sing, they need better pursuit AI when things go sideways. Nothing breaks immersion faster than three-star heat with cops that still can't navigate a simple intersection. That said, 4X RP is nothing to sneeze at — I'll definitely be running this tonight. Hope the suspect NPCs actually put up a decent chase this time instead of parking their car on a curb and waiting to get arrested.
Honestly, the detective theme finally gives us an excuse to actually explore some of those interiors in Vespucci and La Mesa that just sit empty 90% of the time. GTA V's Los Santos had so many detailed buildings you'd only ever see in specific missions — feels like community creators are doing more with that existing geography than Rockstar's own content updates lately.
The 4X payout is solid, but I'm just happy to have a reason to slow down and actually look at the world instead of blasting past it in an Oppressor.
