AC Black Flag dev is already begging people to play their game when GTA 6 drops

lol saw this on GamesRadar. The lead on that new Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced thing is out here pleading with fans to "please play us when GTA 6 comes out."

Can't blame the guy. November 19 is basically a black hole for every other game. You know the entire industry is sweating bullets when a dev just comes out and says it. He also teased some post-launch support plans, so they're clearly hoping to keep people around after the initial window.

I mean, Black Flag was a great game. Sailing around the Caribbean, sea shanties, the whole pirate fantasy. But let's be real, when Vice City is sitting there on my PS5 with a whole new state to explore, I'm not exactly gonna be thinking about naval combat in the 1700s.

It's almost sad. Ubisoft knows what's coming. They're trying to get ahead of it, but there's no stopping the GTA 6 freight train. I'll probably pick up Black Flag Resynced eventually, maybe during a dry spell in 2027 when I've already sunk 500 hours into Leonida and need a palette cleanser.

Still, props to the dev for being honest. Most studios would just pretend GTA 6 doesn't exist and then act surprised when their launch numbers tank.
