Do we really need a Trailer 3 at this point? I think gameplay is next

I keep seeing people counting down to Trailer 3 like it's a guaranteed thing, and I'm just sitting here wondering... why? We're 4 months out. We already know we're buying the game. The hype is baked in.

Back when we were desperate for Trailer 2, it made sense. We had years of silence and any crumb was something to chew on. But now? We're close enough that a launch trailer and some gameplay footage are inevitable. That's more than enough for me.

If Rockstar was going to do a third cinematic trailer, I feel like we'd have it by now. They're not going to drop it in September and then turn around with a gameplay blowout a few weeks later. The next big thing is almost certainly gameplay. Maybe a deep dive, maybe a series of short clips like they did for RDR2. Either way, I'm not holding my breath for another story trailer.

And honestly, I'd rather see raw gameplay anyway. Cinematic trailers are cool but they don't tell me how the world actually feels. Show me the inventory system, the weapon wheel, how Lucia and Jason swap in real time. That's the stuff that'll get me hyped now.

Trailer 2 did its job. I'm not waiting on a third cutscene. Show me pursuit mechanics and unit coordination. How does the AI handle felony stops at high wanted levels? I need to see patrol loadouts and roadblock placement. Raw gameplay matters more than another storyboard.

Exactly. I'm not waiting on a third cinematic. Show me mission architecture, optional objectives, and how Lucia and Jason split duties mid-heist. That's what determines if I'm chasing 100% completion, same as I did for Three Leaf Clover back in IV. Trailer 2 sold the tone.
