cops got one of the alleged leaders behind the rockstar hack

So that Rockstar hack from April finally has an arrest attached to it. GamesRadar is reporting police picked up one of the alleged leaders of the group behind it. The whole thing supposedly revealed how much money GTA Online pulls in, which is wild if true.

Rockstar's official line at the time was that only a "limited amount of non-material company information" was accessed. That phrasing always felt like corporate speak for "nothing you need to worry about" but also maybe "we don't want to talk about it."

I remember when this first hit, everyone was waiting for some massive GTA 6 leak to drop. Instead it was mostly financial stuff and internal docs. Still not great for Rockstar, obviously, but nowhere near the nightmare scenario.

The FBI apparently told these guys "we know how to find you" which is a hell of a thing to read. These hacker groups always think they're untouchable until someone gets raided at 6am.

Honestly the most interesting part to me is the GTA Online revenue angle. We all know that game prints money, but seeing actual internal numbers would be fascinating. Not that I'm asking for the leak, just saying it explains why Rockstar keeps milking it while we wait for November.

Anyway, good to see some accountability. Rockstar doesn't mess around when it comes to this stuff.
