You can relationship-max in GTA 6 as walking along the beach or working out at the gym together increases your couple rating on a four point scale

PC Gamer just dropped a piece saying you can relationship-max in GTA 6. Apparently there's a couple rating between Lucia and Jason that goes on a four point scale, and doing stuff like walking along the beach or working out at the gym together bumps it up.

I know some people were worried Rockstar would just phone in the duo dynamic, but this sounds like they actually built a little system around it. A four point scale isn't huge, but it's enough to make you think about what you're doing with the other protagonist instead of just treating them like a second character you swap to.

Beach walks and gym sessions feel very Vice City too. Like, of course you'd do that in a neon soaked 80s throwback. I wonder if the rating affects dialogue, mission choices, or just how they interact in cutscenes. Rockstar loves those background stats that don't change much mechanically but make the world feel more lived in.

Either way, I'm into it. Small relationship mechanics are the kind of thing that makes a second playthrough feel different, even if it's just flavor. Don't need a full dating sim, just enough to make Lucia and Jason feel like an actual couple instead of two mission vehicles taped together.
