insider gaming's release date piece is up, another teaser with no times
Insider Gaming dropped another GTA 6 piece today, this one about release date and launch times. I saw the headline and got my hopes up that we'd finally get the exact unlock schedule for PS5 and Xbox. Clicked through and it's the same deal as their other recent teases. The page basically says the release date is real, it's happening, and they know what time you can start playing on all platforms. Then the article just ends. No times, no table, nothing.
I get that sites are milking the November 19 date for clicks, but come on. We've known the date for months. Pre-orders have been live since June. The thing I actually want to know is whether Rockstar is doing a rolling midnight launch by timezone or a single global unlock like some publishers do. That changes whether I'm staying up late on the 18th or just waiting until evening on the 19th.
If it's a global launch, people in the US might get it in the afternoon, which is weird. If it's midnight local, New Zealand gets in first and the spoiler flood starts early. I've got the 19th off work either way, but I'd love to know if I should set an alarm.
What's your guess for unlock time, rolling midnight or one global moment?
