I keep seeing this rumor that GTA Online 2 won't launch day one with the story, but a few weeks later. As someone who lives for the radio stations, I'm actually kind of into it!

Remember how in GTA V, the moment you could jump online, half the player base never even finished the story? The radio stations in story mode are so carefully curated — the needle drops, the DJ banter, the way a song hits during a specific mission. If online launches right away, that all gets drowned out by the chaos of multiplayer. I want to cruise Ocean Beach with Flash FM blasting 'Self Control' without some Oppressor Mk II griefing me. A staggered launch gives the story's soundtrack time to become iconic before we all migrate to the online radio. I'm leaning that it's smart. What's your take?
