october 15th is looking like a real possibility for the next gta 6 drop
Caught a report from The Miamian saying the GTA VI billboard and ad campaign in Miami kicks off October 15. That's a Thursday, which lines up with how Rockstar's been doing GTA VI stuff lately. So now I'm wondering if we get something that day too.
We still don't know if other cities are getting the same treatment, but Miami starting then feels deliberate. After the Extended Look, there's definitely space for a proper gameplay trailer. The kind Rockstar used to do for their older games, more structured, less cinematic montage.
But here's the thing that bugs me. Could Rockstar really let all of September go quiet? RDR2's first gameplay trailer dropped August 9, 2018, then the second one October 1. Nothing in September. I really hope they don't copy that schedule for GTA VI. That would be a brutal wait.
October 15 is still over a month out. If the billboards are going up then, maybe that's when the next wave of marketing starts. Could be a trailer, could be screenshots, could be another info dump. Hard to say.
What do you all think, is October 15 the day or are we getting something sooner?

A silent September wouldn't shock me. Rockstar treats marketing like act structure, they go quiet right before the payoff. October 15 tracks.
