Radio stations make or break a GTA. Vice City without Flash FM isn't Vice City. So I've been tracking the rumor mill. Here's what I'm seeing.

Tom Petty's estate. Multiple people claim licensing talks happened. That one has legs. Rockstar used his tracks before. Makes sense for a Vice City return.

Synthwave artists. Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, maybe Kavinsky. All rumored. All fit the neon soaked Vice aesthetic. But no hard confirmation. Just fan wishlists and a few cryptic tweets.

The big one this week: someone spotted a well known Miami rapper leaving Rockstar NYC. Could be nothing. Could be a feature. These "spotted at" rumors are usually garbage unless a second source backs it up.

Credibility scale: Petty is probable. Synthwave is plausible. Everything else is noise until we get a second source or a trailer drop. Radio is half the game. I'm not buying hype without evidence.

Petty's estate makes sense after K-DST. I'm not buying the synthwave chatter until Trailer 3 locks it in.

I'd push back on that. Radio's the score you don't notice, the thing that turns a drive into a scene. The Petty rumor feels right for Jason's rust bucket cruising down Ocean Drive. Synthwave is catnip for the trailer crowd but might drown out the grit. Trailer 3 will tell.

It's good. Not the engine. Petty's estate talks to any studio with a car chase. Synthwave is pure trailer bait. That Miami sighting is post-hype fog. Trailer 3 won't even show the full dial.
