lucia and jason being a couple is the real game changer for gta 6

I keep coming back to this. GTA V gave us three protagonists who barely tolerated each other, and that worked because you could jump between their separate lives. But GTA 6 is doing something different. Lucia and Jason are a couple. That's not just a story detail, it changes how the whole game might feel.
Think about it. In every other GTA, switching characters meant switching to a different solo adventure. Michael had his family drama, Franklin had his come-up, Trevor had his chaos. They intersected but they were still their own people. With Lucia and Jason, you're switching between two halves of the same relationship. Every mission they do together, every argument, every quiet moment, it's all one continuous thread. You can't just ignore one of them for ten hours and come back like nothing happened.
GamesRadar had a piece about this, calling it "the power of two," and I think that's the right way to put it. Rockstar has done couples before, like John and Abigail in RDR2, but never as dual protagonists. In RDR2, John's relationship was mostly background until the epilogue. Here it's front and center from the start. That means the open world might have couple-specific activities, or the story might force you to make choices that affect both of them at once. I'm not saying there's a relationship meter or anything, but the dynamic has to matter somehow, otherwise why bother making them a couple at all?
What I'm most curious about is how switching works in the middle of a mission. In GTA V you could swap to get a better angle or use a different ability. If Lucia and Jason are together in a heist, does swapping feel like coordinating with your partner instead of just picking a different character? And what about when they're apart? Does the game make you feel the distance? I don't know, but it's the kind of thing that could make the single-player feel way more personal than anything Rockstar has done before.
Do you think Rockstar will actually make the relationship matter in gameplay, or will it just be a story wrapper around the same old mission structure?

ok so if switching actually feels like coordinating with your partner mid-heist and not just swapping characters that's gonna change everything i swear
