GTA 6 fans convinced they already found a Dexter Easter Egg in Vice City

Saw Dexerto running a piece on this and figured I'd see if anyone here caught it too. Apparently a bunch of GTA 6 fans are convinced Rockstar quietly dropped Dexter Morgan's apartment complex into Vice City.

The show is set in Miami, and Vice City is Rockstar's take on Miami, so the connection isn't exactly out of left field. But the article doesn't give a specific location or screenshot, just says the theory is making the rounds. From what I can tell, people are pointing at a building that looks a lot like the one from the show's opening credits and saying it has to be intentional.

I'm torn. Rockstar does love this kind of thing. They've referenced Scarface in Vice City before, and Dexter is one of the most famous Miami shows ever. A little nod would fit right in. But Miami also has a ton of apartment buildings with that same pastel, waterfront look. Could easily be a coincidence, or just the art team pulling from real Miami architecture without thinking about Dexter at all.

What gets me is that nobody seems to have a clear shot of it yet. If it was in the trailers or the extended look, you'd think someone would have circled it by now. Maybe it's from a preview build or just a blurry background detail. Or maybe it's all wishful thinking and the building doesn't actually match when you compare them side by side.

Either way, I'd love for it to be real. A Dexter reference would be a fun little Easter egg, especially if it's tucked away somewhere you have to actually go looking for. Rockstar's good at that kind of quiet worldbuilding.

If it is in there, do you think it'll just be a visual nod or will there be some kind of mission or collectible tied to it?

If that building's actually in there, my money's on the western waterfront near Vice Beach (or some equally low-key corner). Rockstar always hides those nods in the margins.
