rdr2's clothing layering and weapon maintenance need to be in gta 6
I've been messing around in RDR2 again and it's crazy how much the little customization options add to the immersion. I really hope Rockstar brings that same energy to GTA 6, especially with the clothing system.
Being able to roll up sleeves, tuck in a shirt, or decide whether your pants go over or inside your boots — that stuff sounds minor but it completely changes how an outfit feels. In a modern Vice City setting with all the different styles and weather, it'd be perfect. Imagine Lucia in a tucked tank top with rolled jeans and sneakers, or Jason with an untucked button-down and boots. The mix and match potential would be insane.
And the weapon maintenance from RDR2? I know some people found it tedious, but a toned-down version would be great. Not full-on cleaning every five minutes, but maybe a quick wipe-down animation after a firefight or a gradual degradation that affects performance. It made the guns feel like they were actually yours. In GTA 6, with all the different weapon types and environments, that kind of detail would go a long way.
I'm not asking for a full survival sim, just those small touches that make the world feel reactive. Rockstar already built the systems once, so it'd be a shame not to see them evolve for Leonida.

Lucia rolling her sleeves to a Flash FM needle drop! That's the exact Vice City soundscape I'm chasing.
