that loan stuff from Love Magazine could set up the meanest ending choice

Been chewing on that Love Magazine feature since it dropped. The part about paying off loans before you can progress the story stuck with me. Gives me real Tom Nook energy, you know the drill.

So here's where my head went. What if the ending makes Jason choose between Lucia and everything they built? Like, keep Lucia alive and you lose all the money, cars, houses, the whole empire. Back to zero in the same playthrough. Or let her die and you keep every dollar and every asset. No reset, no consequences for your bank account.

That's the kind of moral dilemma Rockstar would actually do. They love making you feel the weight of a choice, and after spending the whole game building their relationship and their wealth together, having to burn it all to save her would hit way harder than just picking a dialogue option. It's not just a binary ending, it's a sacrifice either way.

I can already see the post credits screen showing Jason alone in a mansion full of cars, or the two of them broke in a motel room. Both feel like Rockstar endings. I'm not ready for November.
