Been watching a bunch of videos about the different areas and themes, and I've got some thoughts swirling. Figured I'd throw them out here and see what you all make of them.

I think the story might set up an ending where you're left playing as just one character, depending on a big decision. Not exactly like GTA 5's choice, but more like John's part in RDR2, with way more to do after the main story. Heists could be something you pick and choose before the game wraps up, and maybe even after. And I wouldn't be surprised if we finally get some story DLC this time, it'd be a cash cow even with online doing its thing.

For online, I'm picturing a social media and social currency system. Like, best hunt of the week, best heist, best crew, that kind of stuff. The economy might be tied to your level and hours played, not as whacked as GTA 5's. I don't see jetpacks coming back, but maybe some quick little helicopters. And imagine a session where everyone meets up in that swamp area with the flamingos from Trailer 1.

On the gameplay side, I bet we'll have to refuel cars, which could lead to random encounters or just robbing the gas station for the hell of it. Parts of the map might get locked down depending on where you are. If you go on a rampage, it'll probably end fast with more consequences, especially with all those NPCs around. Car repairs might be pricey, so you'll actually care about traffic. I saw a video about holding X to maintain speed like with horses in RDR2, that'd be a nice touch. And GTA 6 golf better blow 2K25 out of the water.

What little details or story twists are you all hoping for?

A flamingo swamp meetup down in the Grassrivers (finally some real wetlands) beats another Los Santos pier gathering. I'm sold.

Refueling and pricey repairs? Finally some respect for the build.

That would be CLEAN. Imagine rolling deep with a full drift set through the wetlands. If that cruise control button lets me hold speed while I scope parts shops I'm SOLD. Just give me a proper dyno and widebody kits day one.

That changes the whole prep phase. I'm assigning a dedicated driver just to keep the getaway fleet intact.

The Grassrivers meetup works for crew screening. Open sightlines, tight comms, no rival crew ambush from a back alley.
