the 6 pack of beer thing has me wondering about a bunch of small mechanics

Not trying to nitpick here, just genuinely curious how some of the smaller immersive stuff is actually going to work when we finally get our hands on it. I know we won't get real answers until November 19, but that's exactly why I'm thinking about it now.

The 6 pack of beer from Trailer 2 keeps coming back to me. TGG mentioned seeing it when he got hands on time, and it seems like you can actually buy one and carry it around. But mechanically what does that mean? Do you just lug it to your car and it sits in the inventory? Is there a reason to have it beyond the novelty? I'm not complaining, I love the idea, but I want to know if there's a purpose or if it's purely for vibes.

Same with the fridge. If you can stock it, does it refill infinitely or do you have to go buy groceries? And if you do have to restock, how tedious is that going to get? Rockstar usually finds a balance between realism and fun, so I'm curious where they land on that one.

Then there's changing clothes in the car. If it's instant like RDR2's wardrobe, doesn't that completely undercut the whole police description system? Like if you can swap outfits in two seconds while the cops are chasing you, what's the point of them noting your clothes? Unless there's an animation or a delay, or maybe you can only change at certain times. That one feels like it could go either way.

Gas station car repair is another weird one. Repairing a car at a gas station isn't really a thing in real life, but I get why they'd put it there for convenience. Will it be a quick time skip or an actual animation with an NPC? And who's doing the repair, some random mechanic who just hangs out at every gas station in Leonida?

I'm not expecting answers from Rockstar before launch, and I'm not saying any of this is bad design. I just like thinking through how these systems might actually function. My guess is they'll keep the small stuff lightweight, short animations here and there, but nothing that slows you down too much. Rockstar knows people don't want to spend five minutes restocking a fridge every time they load in. But the fact that they're even including this level of detail says a lot about where the game is headed.
