are we getting key west or not, the map sleuths can't agree

After that extended look dropped, the map analysis crew went straight back to work. The big argument right now is whether Key West makes the cut in Leonida. I've seen threads going back and forth all week.
Some folks are convinced the Keys chain Rockstar showed off has to end somewhere, and Key West is the obvious choice. It's one of those places that's basically a landmark on its own. You can't do a Florida inspired state and just stop at the middle keys, right?
Other people are less sure. They point out that Rockstar rarely does a 1:1 version of anything, and Key West might get folded into a smaller town or renamed entirely. The extended look gave us a lot of coastline shots but nobody can agree if any of them match the southernmost point or the kind of tourist trap strip Key West is known for.
I get both sides. Rockstar loves cramming in weird little towns, and Key West would be perfect for side missions or just a long drive to the edge of the map. But they also have a habit of trimming real places down to fit the game's pacing. Port Gellhorn already seems to be doing a lot of heavy lifting for the smaller towns, so maybe Key West ends up as a few blocks with a pier and that's it.
The sleuthing has gotten pretty detailed. People are pausing frames from the extended look and comparing road layouts to actual Key West streets. I don't know if that's reliable, but it's fun to watch. Rockstar hasn't said anything, so until we get a proper map reveal or another trailer, this is all guesswork.
If Key West is in, I hope they lean into the weirdness. Sunset celebrations, chickens running around, the whole thing. If it's not, I won't be shocked either. Leonida already looks huge.
What's your call, does the Keys chain end with a full Key West or do you think Rockstar left it out on purpose?
