Rockstar's going all in on the driving system for VI. Every car is supposed to feel individual now, more immersion, all that. Cool. But what happens when you roll one?

In San Andreas and V you could just walk up to a flipped car and shove it back onto its wheels. Totally unrealistic, nobody's flipping an SUV by hand, but it saved your ass constantly. Lose your car to a bad landing and you'd be stuck walking or stealing something worse. That little push back was a lifesaver.

I keep wondering if they'll keep it. The new physics might be too detailed for that. If they drop it, every flip becomes a full reset. You'd have to abandon the car, hope another spawns nearby, or reload. That sounds like a nightmare when you're halfway across Leonida and your tuned ride is upside down in a ditch.

And the air control thing too. In V you could at least steer a bit while the car was flying to try and land on the wheels. If that's gone along with the push back, driving is gonna feel way more punishing. Maybe that's the point, more realistic, but I don't play GTA to get stranded because I hit a curb wrong.

Would you rather keep the unrealistic push back and air steering, or deal with losing your car every time it flips?
