someone tracked down the real building from the trailer, it's already demolished

So a fan did some serious detective work and found the actual Miami building Rockstar used as the reference for Jason and Lucia's apartment in the trailer. Apparently it's been demolished for years now, which is kind of wild when you think about it. Rockstar probably shot reference photos ages ago and just kept them in a folder somewhere.
I love this kind of stuff. The fact that they went to the trouble of finding a real building, even one that's gone now, just to get the vibe right for Vice City. It makes the world feel more grounded. I remember people doing the same thing with GTA 5 and the Vespucci Beach apartments, but this one hits different because it's the main characters' home.
What gets me is how much effort goes into these little details that most players will never notice. You walk past a building in the game and it's just background noise, but someone at Rockstar probably stood on that street corner in Miami with a camera. And now some fan on the internet spent who knows how long cross referencing street views and old photos to figure it out. The dedication on both sides is unreal.
I'm curious if the in-game version will look exactly like the real one or if they changed it up. The trailer showed the apartment pretty clearly, so someone with a good eye could probably compare. If the building is demolished in real life, that means Rockstar had to work from old photos or maybe they visited before it was torn down. Either way, it's a cool little piece of the puzzle.
Anyone else love this kind of real world detective work or is it just me?
