GameSpot's second screenshot deep dive spots iguanas, scuba gear and abandoned bridge projects

GameSpot's Jake Dekker is back with another pass through the pile of official GTA 6 screenshots, and this time he went through all 99 of them. That's a lot of pixels to squint at. The new dump from this week pushed the count up, so he's basically doing a full forensic sweep of everything Rockstar has put out.
Some of the stuff he flagged:
- iguana lizards scattered around Vice City, which is the kind of tiny ambient detail that sells a setting
- references to real-life abandoned bridge projects, which is a weirdly specific thing to put in a game and I love it
- local hangout spots where you can apparently chill between heists
- underwater environments with scuba gear that looks genuinely believable
- Lucia's gym clothes, which he notes are high thread count. Jason, per GameSpot's earlier piece, could maybe take notes on gym etiquette
He also calls out the technical side: camera angles, lighting, reflections. The kind of thing you don't clock on a first look but that makes a scene feel real once you zoom in. If you've been staring at these shots like the rest of us, you've probably noticed the same thing. There's a density to them that's hard to fake.
His takeaway is that GTA 6 could end up one of the best-looking games of the year, which is saying something in a 2026 that also has Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Resident Evil Requiem and 007 First Light pushing the graphics bar. Fair point. This isn't a quiet year for pretty games.
There's also a first video in the series if you missed it, where he started working through the earlier batch. Worth a watch if you're the type who pauses a trailer frame by frame. Which, let's be honest, most of us are at this point.
We're close enough now that screenshot analysis is basically the only new info we're getting until launch on November 19. So stuff like this is what we've got. Iguanas and scuba tanks and bridge pylons.
What's the smallest detail you've spotted in these screenshots that nobody else seems to be talking about?
