I really hope the jiggle physics carry over to gameplay, not just that twerking showcase
Caught myself rewatching the first trailer's beach scene again and that twerking clip still lives rent free in my head. Rockstar obviously put some work into the bounce and sway for that moment, but I'm praying it's not just a scripted cutscene thing. I need Lucia's physics to have actual weight when she's sprinting, climbing, or especially riding a motorcycle. The bike suspension in GTA 5 already gives a nice rhythmic bounce, so imagine that combined with proper body physics. I'd probably spend more time in the Rockstar Editor than actually playing the story, my girlfriend's gonna be so done with me.
RDR2 had some subtle movement on horseback but it was pretty tame. This is Vice City though, bikinis and booty shorts are basically the uniform. If the jiggle only exists in that one twerking showcase and not in free roam, it's gonna feel like a huge missed opportunity. I'm not asking for anything ridiculous, just something that looks natural when Lucia's moving around the world. What do you guys think, will Rockstar go all in on the physics or keep it dialed back for the final build?

That beach clip was marketing catnip. Rockstar knew the assignment.
I've loved this series too long to trust whatever physics they show off in a curated trailer. That bounce was almost certainly hand-tuned for one specific shot. Free roam systems have to stay stable across the whole map, so they usually trim this stuff hard before gold.
RDR2 kept horse movement subtle because it had to be. Same deal here. I hope Lucia has real weight when you're sprinting or on a bike, but my gut says it'll get dialed way back once the marketing push ends. Would love to be wrong about this.
