GTA 5 trailers had stuff that never made it in, so what's getting cut from GTA 6?

Was looking back at the old GTA 5 trailers and something hit me. There's that shot of a plane dropping some kind of gas over the city, and I don't think that ever showed up in any mission. Probably cut content. Then there's the crowd density shot, even the enhanced version we got recently doesn't have that many NPCs packed together.

Now with GTA 6, I'm seeing the same pattern. Trailer 1 had the beach absolutely packed with people, but that new screenshot from the other day? Zero NPCs. Not a single soul on the sand. And I get it, optimization is a beast, especially on current gen consoles. But it makes you wonder what else might get scaled back before November 19.

I'm not saying Rockstar is being deceptive, it's just the reality of game development. They show off the vertical slice, the best case scenario, and then the final build has to run on actual hardware. I'm just hoping the crowd density in Vice City proper doesn't take too big a hit. That's half the atmosphere.

I'd rather have a smooth 30fps than a beach full of NPCs that tanks the framerate. But still, fingers crossed they find a good balance. The gator walking into the convenience store might be a scripted moment too, not something that happens dynamically. We'll see in November.
