Is GTA 6 the last AAA game made the old way?

We spend a lot of time talking about the map size, the graphics, the budget, the pre-order drama. All the usual stuff. But I've been thinking about something else lately.

AI tools are creeping into game dev fast. Not just for upscaling textures or whatever, but for generating dialogue, animations, even whole chunks of the world. By the time the next generation of blockbusters rolls around, a lot of the grunt work might be handled by AI. Testing, asset creation, maybe even quest design.

GTA 6 is probably the last game of this scale that's being built almost entirely by human hands. Rockstar's been working on it for years, long before these tools got good. So when we look back in 10 or 15 years, I wonder if GTA 6 will feel like the end of an era. The final massive AAA game where the old way of making things was still the only way.

I'm not saying that's a good thing or a bad thing. Just different. The industry always changes. But it's wild to think that the next Rockstar game might be made in a completely different way, with AI doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Do you think GTA 6 will be remembered as a turning point between two very different eras of game development?
