is jason telling lucia to cover him an actual command or just scripted?

Rewatched the extended look the other night and the opening cop confrontation stuck out to me. Jason says something like "move up" and then asks for cover fire. Lucia answers "on it!" and the way she says it feels very much like a game response, not a cutscene line.

It got me thinking. Is this just contextual dialogue baked into that mission, or is Rockstar actually giving us some kind of partner command system? We've seen companion mechanics before in Rockstar games, but a dedicated "ask for cover" button with Lucia would be new for a GTA game.

Could be nothing. Rockstar loves making scripted moments feel interactive, and this could be the same trick. But the "on it!" response is so immediate and gamey. If it was purely scripted, why make her sound like she's confirming a command?

Maybe there's a light contextual system. Like when you're in a firefight with Lucia, you can point at a position or call for suppressing fire and she reacts. That would fit the whole duo dynamic they keep pushing. It wouldn't need to be a full squad control thing, just a few options when things get loud.

Do you think this is a real command system or just Rockstar making a scripted moment feel interactive?
