GTA 6 CHARACTERS

GTA 6 is built around two playable protagonists: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, lovers and partners in crime. Rockstar revealed their full names and backstories on May 6, 2025, alongside Trailer 2, plus a six-act supporting cast. Here is everyone officially named so far — bios, story setup, and the honest state of the voice-actor question.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia is the first non-optional female lead in the series' history. Her official bio: "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia's learned her lesson — only smart moves from here."

Per the official site, she grew up in Liberty City and wants "the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City." Fresh out of prison, she's committed to changing the odds in her favor — and "a life with Jason could be her way out." Her crime is never specified beyond "fighting for her family."

Jason Duval

Jason's official bio: "Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder. Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new."

Rockstar adds that "meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him." He lives rent-free at one of Brian Heder's properties in the Leonida Keys in exchange for shakedown work. Neither character has an official age.

Two protagonists, one story

Both leads are playable — the game is designed around the pair. Rockstar hasn't officially detailed how switching between them works, so anything specific about the switch mechanic is speculation for now. The official story synopsis: "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."

Press widely infers that failed score is a bank heist — Raul Bautista is a bank robber, and Trailer 2 shows one — but Rockstar's synopsis never says "bank." The popular "Bonnie and Clyde" framing isn't Rockstar's language either: it comes from Jason Schreier's July 2022 Bloomberg report describing the leads as a "Bonnie and Clyde-inspired duo," and the press has used it ever since. The supporting cast

Rockstar revealed six supporting characters/acts on May 6, 2025. A seventh, Wyman, arrived with the June 2026 pre-order marketing.

Cal Hampton is "Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's" who "feels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open." Rockstar calls him "at the low tide of America and happy there."

Boobie Ike is "a local Vice City legend — and acts like it. One of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio — Boobie's all smiles until it's time to talk business."

Dre'Quan Priest "was always more of a hustler than a gangster. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into music was the goal." He runs the Only Raw Records label and signed Real Dimez.

Real Dimez — "Bae-Luxe and Roxy aka Real Dimez have been friends since high school — girls with the savvy to turn their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence." Their early viral success came from tracks with rapper DWNPLY.

Raul Bautista — "Confidence, charm, and cunning — Raul's a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards." Rockstar warns that "Raul's recklessness raises the stakes with every score" — he's the most likely conduit into the heist that goes wrong.

Brian Heder is "a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian's been around long enough to let others do his dirty work." Jason works for him — and stops by for Lori's sangria.

Wyman, an "eccentric collector and local fixer" behind Wyman's World Auto Salvage Co., commissions the Classic Car Collection restoration missions exclusive to the $99.99 Ultimate Edition. Details on that and the pre-order bonuses are on our editions page.

Voice actors: nothing announced

This is the fact people search for most, so let's be direct: as of July 2026, Rockstar has announced zero cast members. No official cast list exists. Every name you've seen attached comes from resumes, agency listings, leaks, or fan analysis.

• Lucia — Manni L. Perez is the strongest-supported claim, according to reporting from outlets like NME: a voice/likeness match with the 2022 leak footage, a prior GTA Online role, and NDA hints. Some aggregators claim SAG-AFTRA verification. Still unconfirmed by Rockstar.
• Jason — pure rumor. Dylan Rourke is most-cited; Gregory Connors, Jake Silbermann, and Cole Hauser have also been floated. Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker have explicitly denied involvement.
• Rumor: actor Brett Gipson reportedly plays a supporting character named "Ellis," per a June 2026 resume find — not confirmed by Rockstar.

What's next for the cast

A third video, "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look," is officially dated for August 27, 2026, premiering on Netflix before Rockstar's own channels — see our Trailer 3 tracker. Content is unconfirmed, but most expect it to flesh out Jason and Lucia's relationship, the antagonists, or the first real gameplay. We track every drop in News & Trailers. The story starts with Lucia's release from Leonida Penitentiary (that much is official from her bio and Trailer 1), but anything more specific about the prologue — a prison-break mission, a playable release scene — is rumor derived from the 2022 leak.
